Ava is moderate sized, with lovely structure and movement. From 3 weeks on she showed her delightful, sparkling attitude, and throughout her life has made friends wherever she went. She was a registered therapy dog for many years and worked with autistic children. She was also a wonderful juniors dog for my niece Rachel Hubshman. At age 12, Ava herds sheep every week and is now doing open field work and Border Collie size trial courses. She earned her Herding Started title with Reserve High in Trial at the ABTC 1999 National Specialty.
