Am. CH Bergeau Pinot Grigio "Jazz" was tragically killed at 4 years old. He was from Bergeau Tervueren in England, bred by Margy Pratten. His sire, Brit. CH Opium Van de Hoge Laer at Corsini "Carlos" is one of England's most famous stud dogs.
His litter out of Brit. CH Charbonny Hedda "Wyzzy" was so outstanding that Margy repeated the breeding. I co-own a lovely full sister to Jazz from this repeat breeding -- Piper with Darlene Hernandez, Landmark Tervuren and we had a beautiful litter -- the Puppets -- out of her by my George.
Jazz had show-stopping looks and an attitude to match. His physical trademarks were a long elegant head with a very dark almond eye, beautiful neck arch, lots of leg, and exceptional height at the withers. Jazz was an extremely exuberant, dynamic dog, with the capability to be an outstanding performance competitor.
He was used only a few times before his death and I am very grateful to have had the chance to breed Ava to him. The puppies that resulted are everything I hoped for and more.
