At Montage our focus is on breeding Belgians with performance ability and elegant breed type. We are dedicated to producing Belgians with the athletic structure, working drive, and biddable attitude to be successful at the highest levels of performance dog sports, while still having the beautiful looks to be breed champions. We are very proud of the versatility of Montage Belgians as show, obedience, agility, herding, tracking, search and rescue, and therapy dogs.

Montage Belgians are mainly the Tervuren variety (long haired reds and grays), but we occasionally also have Groenendaels (long haired blacks). Montage Belgians are first and foremost family members, and all litters are raised in our home. Health is always a priority; we do careful screening of our puppies and prospective parents, and Montage puppies come with written guarantees for both health and temperament.

Belgians of any variety are incredibly versatile and trainable, with enormous enthusiasm and desire to please. Energetic, agile and highly intelligent, they are very alert by nature and can be quite mischievious. They require lots of attention and socializing as youngsters, with a need for structured activities and jobs to do in order to keep them out of trouble. They thrive on spending quality indoor time with their family. Their high energy level and need for jobs to do may not be appropriate for all family situations. Belgians are always happiest working and playing with human partners.
